Tamarind Tea |
My own original recipe.
Prep Time: 5 minutes / Cook Time 15 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup Indonesian tamarind (you can buy in Asian grocery store)
2 sticks brown sugar
1 1/2 liter water
Method:
Bring to boil the water and add the tamarind. then boil over medium heat for about five minutes. Add the brown sugar and continue boiling for another ten minutes over medium-low heat. Turn off the heat and let it cool then strain it. Keep it refrigerated and consume within a week.
