Indonesian Vegetarian Fried Rice

Indonesian Vegetarian Fried Rice
My own original recipe.
Prep Time: 15 minutes / Cook Time 15 minutes

Ingredients:

1 plate of cooked white rice (refrigerated rice is best)
1 cup dice carrot
1 cup dice french bean
1 cup dice pineapple
2 cups dice tempeh (See bottom picture, you can buy in your local Fred Meyer or Asian grocery store)
1 teaspoon pepper powder
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt

For Tempeh:

2 tbsp soy sauce
2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tbsp water
Pinch of salt
2 tbsp olive oil

Method:

Mix all the seasoning (except for the olive oil) and the tempeh evenly in a bowl together, then fry in two tbsp olive oil until golden.  Set aside.

Using the same skillet, heat two tbsp olive oil and fry the french beans for one minute, then add the carrots. Add the rice and mix evenly.  Then add the pepper powder, soy sauce and pinch of salt.  Add the cooked tempeh and pineapple, then gently stir it to combine.  Serve with slice of cucumber or tomato.
This is American Style Tempeh, but tempeh is originally from Indonesia.
