Super Easy Trio Yellow Curry

Super Easy Trio Yellow Curry
My own original recipe.
Prep Time: 15 minutes / Cook Time 20 minutes


1/2 box firm tofu
1 medium Daikon (get in Chinese grocery store)
4 oz fish cake or 1 package fish ball
2 tbsp red curry paste
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 teaspoon chili paste or more
1 lemon grass - cut
1/4 cup coconut milk
salt to taste
1 cup of water
Vegetable oil to fry


Cut the tofu into rectangles in half inch thick, then fry them until golden.  Peel the daikon and cut them the same size as the tofu and bring to boil for one and half minutes and rinse in cold running water to stop the cooking process.  Also cut the fish cake, don't need to cut if you are using the fish balls.

In a pan, heat one cup of  water with the curry paste, chili paste and turmeric powder over medium heat.  Add the tofu, lemon grass, daikon and fish cake then simmer until it boils.  Add the coconut milk and turn off the heat when it sizzles.  Serve.
