Homemade Mini Burger Bun

Homemade Mini Burger Bun
My own original recipe.
Prep Time: 3 Hours and 30 minutes / Cook Time 30 minutes


1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/4 cup mashed potato
1/2 cup whole milk
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp water
1/2  teaspoon yeast (dissolve in 1 tbsp water for 5 minutes)
3/4 tbsp sugar
1/2 egg
Pinch of salt


Mix all the ingredients together and knead until it is smooth.  Grease a bowl with olive oil and place the dough in the bowl and cover with plastic wrap.  Let it sit and double in size.  It will take about 3 hours.

After 3 hours, punch the dough and knead a little bit.  Then make the dough in the shape of burger buns (I use a cupcake baking pan).  Place the burger buns in a baking pan and let it sit for another 30 minutes then bake over 325 degrees until golden.
