This recipe is so um um good.  Everyone who has tried it loves it.  It's a classic Chinese dish.  Anyone who loves Chinese food, will love this dish, I guarantee it.  It is a flavorful tangy tasty mouth watering dish that goes great with white rice.

My own original recipe.
Prep Time: 15 minutes / Cook Time 15 minutes
Easy How to Make Stir Fry Tofu with Beef and Chinese Mustard

  • 1/4 box firm tofu
  • 1 palm size beef
  • 1 package of Chinese mustard (you can get it in Asian store see picture below)
  • few pieces dried chilies
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil or cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce (if need it)
  • 1 tbsp water
For Marinate:
  • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
Cooking Directions:
  1. Wash and cut the beef into long thin slices and marinate with the marinate seasoning.  Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. Cut the tofu in the same size chunks as the beef, fry the sliced tofu in a non-stick pan over medium heat until golden then set aside.
  3. Using the same frying pan, pan fry the beef with the remaining oil from the tofu from before until the two sides turn brown.
  4. Add one package of the Chinese mustard and dried chilies into the beef, stir in one tbsp of water then add the tofu.
  5. Keep stirring in a medium-low heat for a few seconds or until all are mixed well then transfer to a serving plate. You can add one teaspoon soy sauce if not salted enough.

This is what the Chinese preserved mustard looks like.
