Spicy Chicken Wing |
My own original recipe.
Prep Time: 15 minutes / Cook Time 20 minutes
Spicy Chicken Wing
Ingredients:
- 6 chicken wings
- 1 tbsp grated lemon grass
- 2 teaspoon cayenne pepper or more
- 2 cloves grated fresh garlic
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- vegetable oil to deep fry
- ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt
- 2 red chillies
- 1 lime
- 1 clove grated garlic
- 1/2 tbsp hot water
- salt to taste
- Cut or separate the wings and wash them, then marinate with grated lemon grass, grated garlic, cayenne pepper and salt for a few hours or overnight.
- Cut the chillies and remove the seeds, then chop it.
- Cut and squeeze the lime into a small bowl along with the chopped chillies, then add the grated garlic and some salt to taste. Whisk in hot water until they're blended well.
- In a bowl, mix the all purpose flour with ground black pepper, garlic powder and salt.
- Dust the marinated wings with the mixed flour and fry it into a hot deep frying pan over medium heat until golden and crisp.
- Drain them in an oil rack and serve with the spicy chili lime.
