Lemongrass Beef

Lemongrass Beef
This lemongrass beef is quick and easy to make, it's a great recipe for families on the go.  It's so flavorful and delicious, everyone in the family will love you making it.

My own original recipe.
Prep Time: 10 minutes / Cook Time 15 minute
Easy and Delicious Lemongrass Beef

  • 8 oz tender beef
  • 2 stalks grated lemongrass
  • 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 clove chopped garlic
  • 1 chopped shallot
  • 1 tbsp diced tomato
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
For Marinate:
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • pinch of pepper powder
Cooking Directions:
  1. Wash and cut the beef into thin slices, then marinate the beef with the seasoning above. 
  2. Fry the beef half cooked in a non-stick skillet over medium heat and set aside.
  3. Using the same skillet with the remaining oil from the beef, fry the garlic and the shallot until fragrant then add diced tomato. Stir in the tbsp of water over low heat and add the lemongrass, brown sugar, and soy sauce. 
  4. Then when it's sizzling, add the beef to the skillet and cook until there's no more juice. You can add a pinch of salt if not salty enough.
  5. Serve with rice or wrapped in lettuce.
