Delish Stuffed Drumstick

Delish Stuffed Drumstick
My own original recipe.
Prep Time: 20 minutes / Cook Time 25 minutes

Delish Stuffed Drumstick

  • 2 big drumsticks
  • 1 cup minced chicken
  • Some of turkey ham or any kind of ham
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • Garlic powder for drumstick and 1 teaspoon for minced chicken
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • String to tie up
Cooking Directions:
  1. Using a sharp and small knife, trim the meat around the bone starting from the meaty part all the way down to the drumstick knee. Slowly remove the bone by cutting the joint bone of the drumstick. Wash and dry it with a kitchen towel and rub the inside drumstick with garlic powder and salt.
  2. In a bowl, place the minced chicken, dried parsley, fresh thyme, cornstarch, 1/2 tbsp olive oil, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper, pinch of salt and mix it all well together.
  3. Place a few layers of turkey ham and spoon the mixed chicken then roll it.
  4. Open the drumstick and put the stuffing inside, then cover with the meat around the edge or with the skin itself of the drumstick.
  5. Tie up with the string and make sure that the stuffing will stay inside.
  6. Rub the outside stuffed drumstick with garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper and some salt.
  7. With one tbsp olive oil, fry the marinated stuffed drumstick in a hot oven safe skillet over medium heat until the skin turns brown. Move the skillet to the oven and continue cooking the stuffed drumstick in 350 degrees oven until well done.
  8. Let it sit for a few minutes before cutting.
