Fettuccine Alfredo

Fettuccine Alfredo
This is the easiest and best tasting fettuccine alfredo.

My own original recipe.
Prep Time: 15 minutes / Cook Time: 20 minutes
Fettuccine Alfredo

  • 1 handful of fettuccine
  • 5 to 6 heads button mushroom
  • 1 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/2 tbsp butter
  • 1 1/2 all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil or oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt to taste
Cooking Directions:
  1. Wash the mushrooms and cut in the shape as you desire, then fry it in a hot skillet over medium heat with 1/2 tbsp olive oil. Cook until they're caramelized and no more liquid, set aside.
  2. Bring to boil the fettuccine in hot boiling water with 1/2 tbsp olive oil and salt to taste.
  3. Melt the butter in a medium pot over medium low heat.
  4. Add the flour and keep stirring until it turns golden.
  5. Then whisk in milk until it is smooth and no more lumps. When it is hot, add grated parmesan cheese, dried basil, ground black pepper and salt to taste, then continue whisking until boil and turn off the heat.
  6. Add the cooked mushrooms and fettuccine and transfer into a serving plate.
