Chocolate Mousse in Chocolate Cup

Chocolate Mousse in Chocolate Cup
This is a great chocolate mousse to share with a loved or enjoy yourself with some R&R.

My own original recipe for the chocolate mousse.
Adapted for the cupcake chocolate
Prep Time: 10 minutes / Cook Time: 10 minutes / Waiting Time: 3 to 4 hours

Chocolate Mousse in Chocolate Cup

  • 4 squares semi-sweet baker's chocolate bar or any kind
  • Some cupcake paper
  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powder sugar, can be more or less (depends on how sweet you like it)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cooking Directions
  1. In a big bowl, beat the heavy cream by using a mixer with medium speed until fluffy, then add powder sugar, vanilla extract, and chocolate powder. Then beat with low speed or just stir well.  Do not over beat otherwise they will turn watery.
  2. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until it becomes firm.
  3. Melt the chocolate bars in a glass bowl and place the bowl into a pot with boiling water over medium heat.
  4. Make sure the bowl does not touch the water so you have to use a bigger bowl then the pot.  When the chocolates melt, let it cool.
  5. Spray the cupcake paper with pam cooking spray.
  6. Using a small spoon, fill the cupcake paper with the melted chocolate and spread evenly to the top. Do it until there's no more chocolate and wait until the chocolate cupcake cup becomes hard, then gently peel the cupcake paper.
  7. Fill the chocolate cup with mousse. You can make a chocolate love shape as a nice presentation, like the picture above.
  8. Enjoy with a loved one.
